Summer reading continues with some delightful titles
Get Ready for Our August Book Highlights! They won THREE Eisners! Her lifelong favorite Kaiju, Godzilla won Best Anthology for their beautiful, Godzilla’s 70th Anniversary (congratulations IDW Editor Jake Williams) AND David Mazzucchelli’s Batman Year One Artist’s Edition won two awards — Best Archival Collection/Project—Comic Books and Best Publication Design (congratulations per Scott Dunbier to IDW ‘boy wonder’ their brilliant Designer and nicest person, Nate Widick)!
Starting off the month, August 5 releases include My Little Pony: Lost Stories of Equestria — kids will get lost in these four stories of action, mystery, and friendship featuring Princess Cadance, Violette Rainbow and Skye, Zipp and Pipp, and the Mane 5!
Those of you who enjoy coloring to reduce stress and indulge in your creativity, Alan Robert has created another installment of his activity book series, The Beauty of Horror with Ghouliana’s Sanctuary For Monsters! And for a change, Ghouliana debuts in her first ever illustrated storybook with new original art and a story for you to read along as you color!
Our final release this week is a charming tear-jerker, The Land of Unfinished Dreams. This first collaboration between Italian creators Marco Daeron Ventura and Marco Ferraris is a thrilling and poignant graphic novel about storytelling, family, growing old, and staying young.
