The Manly Man Company®’s idea came to Greg Murray after a conversation with his wife, Jacquie. Greg had recently bought a bouquet of flowers and asked her why there wasn’t a matching gift for men? You can buy men flowers, but the practice isn’t what you might call commonplace. Plus, how many men really want a vase of flowers?
The couple thought that a bouquet of beef jerky might be the perfect replacement. Soon after, Greg’s wife surprised Greg with the very first ‘model’ of what is now called “Man Bouquets.” They are sticks and sheets of jerky carved into the shape of flowers and roses sitting inside a pint glass or beer mug “vase.”
Once the Murray’s decided man bouquets were the ideal gift for the dilemma of what to get “him” for Valentine’s Day. In their first week of business, Greg called a high school classmate that enlisted with him when he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Greg and Jacquie asked Ben Wynkoop, to join as the third Co-Founder. The Murray’s decided that Ben would be excellent to efficiently place their unique and intriguing creations online in front of as many people as possible.

My wife and I love to promote Veteran-owned businesses. It shows us that after they have served their country they find that owning their own business is rewarding.
When you are in the military, that is your whole life. You go when you are told to, where you are told to. You sacrifice a lot when you are in the military. But if you ask any Veteran they will most likely tell you it was their pleasure to serve. So it only makes sense to support them.
What I Received from the Manly Man Company
I received a “bouquet” of beef jerky treats, displayed in a beer glass “vase”. The flavors of jerky that I got are original, teriyaki and hot. The arrangement is chunked and formed with meat stems, giving an overall vibe of a bouquet of flowers.
